My name is He xuefen.I am No..And I am from Fuzhou Educational college. I am very glad to stand here and talk about Lesson13 --Jobs,which is chosen from the first lesson of Unit7 in Book6 that is published by Fujian Educational Publisher.The content is close to the real life,let students learn happily and easily. It is about different kinds of jobs. After studying this lesson, the students will be able to talk about their ideal career. It provides the words and sentences of occupations,and it also encourage the students to exprethemselves in daily life. In this lesson, students can also improve their listening,reading and speaking abilities.

PartII Teaching objects:

Based on the New English Course Standard,the teaching objects are:

1.Knowledge objects:

Let students grasp the new words:pilot,nurse,singer,dancer,farmer,worker,policeman.And learn tounderstand and use the sentence pattern“What do you want to be……?I want to be a.... Because---"

1) To develop the Students’ abilities of listening, speaking, reading and acting

PartVAnalysis of the Teaching Methods

Based on the New English Course Standard and the teaching material,I'll adopt the following teaching methods to support my teaching: Tasked-based teaching, communicative approach, situational teaching and games.Besides, the teaching material is arranged from easy to difficult,from known to unknown. I also want to use real objects and pictures to arouse the students' interest in learning English..

Part VI Students' Learning Methods

By studying this lesson, the students have learned to arrange their learning activities in an orderly way and step by step. That is,prepare lessons before class,participate in activities in class, and review in time after class.

Part VII Teaching Procedure

OK,now I will talk about the most important part—teaching procedures,which including the following step:

(Before the clastudents, I’ll divide the whole clainto four groups to make a competition in the class.At the end of the class,the best group can get a box of little stars.)

Step1Warming-up

1)Greetings.

2)Sing a song"A Happy Song"

(Purpose: To create a better English learning atmosphere for the students, focus their attention in the claand lead in the topic naturally.)

Step2Presentation

1.Learn the new words.

The teacher draw a picture of nurse and lead in the topic.

T: I'm a teacher. You are students.(Review the words,teacher and student.)

But when I was a child,I wanted to be a nurse.

Teach the word"nurse",using high and low voice.

Show the pictures of the jobs and make students learn the new words.(pilot,farmer,singer,dancer,policeman,worker,policeman,)

Ask students to read the new words after me for several times.

Play a game"Drive the train" to practice the new words. The best group can get two little stars.

(Purpose: This is to enable every student to practice the new word.)

2. Learn the sentence patterns.

OK,now among these occupations ----What do you want to be?( the teacher will also say it in Chinese,and write it on the blackboard.ask some students to answer)

Let students practice the sentence patterns in pairs.

3.Learn the text

1)Play the video to present the dialogue.Let students just listen to understand what Peter and Li Hong are talking about.

2)Play the video again and lead students to answer the following questions:

a.What does Peter want to be? Why?

b.What does Li Hong want to be? Why?(Give the best group 3 little stars)

3)Play it the third time.Let the students listen and imitate the dialogue.

(Purpose: Let students understand the dialogue and improves students' speaking and listening abilities.

Step3Practice

Finish the second part"Look and say".

Divide the students into 4 groups to have a competition. Find out which group is the best.

After 5 minutes,each group is supposed to send a pair to present it.

(Purpose: Task-based teaching is used here to develop the students' sense of cooperation and proper competition.)

Step 4 Consolidation

Finish the third part"Ask and answer" Find out which group finishes better and fastter.

(Purpose: To consolidate the knowledge that have learned.)

Step 5 Homework

1)Read the text 30 minutes at least

2)Copy the new words 5 times.

3)Do a survey"What do your clastudentsmates want to be?"

Lesson 19 : The Zoo Is Open !

Hello, everyone. Today I’m very pleased to have an opportunity to talk about some of my teaching ideas. My topic is The zoo is open taken from Lesson 19 of Unit 3. It is made up of four parts

Part 1 My understanding of this lessonThe analysis of the teaching material:

This is the third lesson of Unit3.It is a very important part in this unit..Lesson 19 is a dialogue, it’s about a plan .(where are you going) to the zoo。.And Unit3 is about the animals.They are connected.

By studying Lesson19,the students can improve their listening,speaking,reading and writing abilities.At the same time, make them understand animals are important for people. Some of them will go extinct.To protect the animals is our duty.

Teaching aims:1. Knowledge aim: Understand the main idea of this lesson.2. Ability aim: Retell the text in their own words.3. Emotional aim: Make the Ss love animals and do something to stop them from going extinct.Key points / Teaching important points: The important points : New words and phrases

Act out the dialogue

The difficult points: How to make a plan

Something about the Ss:1. The Ss have known something about animals through the Internet and other ways.2. They are lack of vocabulary.3. They don’t often use English to exprethemselves and communicate with others.4. Some Ss are not active in the clabecause they are afraid of making mistakes.

Teaching method: I will use ----Double activities teaching method ,Question-and-answer activity teaching method,Watch-and-listen activity ,Free discussion method ,Pair work or individual work method.Teaching aids:1. a projector2. a tape recorder

Part 3. Teaching steps / proceduresI have designed the following steps to train their ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing, especially reading ability.

Step1 :Lead inAsk some questions about Lesson19.say “What are you going to do on Sunday ?Do you want to see the animals?Let’s look at Danny and Jenny ,where they are going.to lead into Lesson19:The Zoo Is Open!

Step2: Show the new words to the students.

Show them some pictures and let them talk each other, and then use the pictures to learn new words, for example,gorillas, zebra ,snake and so on.

Purpose: Arouse the students’ interest of study.

Step3: Listening: Ask them to close their books and listion to the tape.I’ll give them two questions.listen to the first part and answer the first question and then the second.。

Purpose:Train the Ss’ listening ability

Step 4. Fast readingRead the passage as quickly as they can. I show the questions on the screen and let them get the main idea of this lesson.

Purpose: Improve the students’ reading ability.

Step5: Act out: Ask two groups to come to the blackboard and act out the dialogue, if they do well,we can go onnext step , If they can’t , I will give them two minutes to recite the dialodge.

Purpose: I want to know if my students understand the whole text really.

Step6: Play a game

I’ll ask one cute student to come to the blackboard and do some actions like a dog ,a monker and so on,the others can guewhat It is. In this part ,it can improve the students’ speaking ability. By this way the students can remember the new words easily.

Step7: discussingScientists say that seventy-four different kinds of living things go extinct every day. How can people stop animals from going extinct, or how to protect the animals.

Purpose: This part make the students understand the anmals are people’s friends, to protect them is our duty.

Step8: Do some exercise.

Fill in the blanks :

Unit 2 Feelings and Opinions Lesson 3Only time can understand how valuable Love isGood morning, teachers. It’s my great honor to be here sharing my lesson with you. The content of my lesson is Book2 Unit 2’s Reading. I’ll be ready to begin this lesson from 4 parts: Analysis of the teaching material, the teaching methods, the students and studying methods, the teaching procedure.

First, let me talk about the teaching material.

PartⅠ The analysis of the teaching material

1、 Teaching Aims:After studying the teaching material, the teaching aims are the following: 1. Knowledge aims: 1) Learn the new words in this passage.2) Talk about “Love, Richness, Happiness, Knowledge---” in a fable. 谈论语言中的“Love, Richness, Happiness, Knowledge---”

3) recognize the conjunction and change of the tense of the object clause. 识别宾语从句连接词和时态的变化。 2 Ability aims:1) To help students to improve the abilities of reading and tellingstory.2) To encourage students speak English. 3 Emotional aims:1) English and American English, through its learning toTo encourage students to love, to help people and understand the relationship of Love, Richness, Happiness, Knowledge鼓励同学们要帮助别人、爱别人。能够真正懂得爱、富裕幸福和知识的关系。

2、Teaching Keys & Difficulties 教学重点、难点Key points: 1) Let students master new words and phrases in the passage. 2) Develop students’ reading ability, especially summarizing, skimming and scanning ability. 3) Through cooperation, cultivate their communication ability. As is known to us all, a good teaching method requires that the teacher should help the Ss develop good sense of the English language. For achieving these teaching aims, I will use the following methods according to the modern social communication teaching theories.(1) Multi-media teaching(2) Cooperative learning-for example: group discussion(3)Task-Based Language Teaching: for example role playing game PartⅢ Analysis of the students and studying methods

My students are first-grade students of senior high school. They have been learning English in junior high school and have accumulated a certain number of vocabularies. They have mastered some simple learning strategies and skills with a preliminary ability of speaking and writing.However, the differences in students’ personality and English proficiency are very large. So my teaching design should have gradient to meet the need of different student. As for learning, Students will learn through independent reading, discussing and cooperating. PartⅣ Teaching procedures教学过程

Step1 导入用QQ的表情来复习各种常见的表情。引出故事-这些表情在很久以前曾经住在一个岛屿上 但是岛屿上突然发生一些事情使得感情们也发生了也都发生了变化。究竟发生了什么呢?

Step2 Read the passage carefully, and then choose any golden egg. If answer question correctly, students can get a gift. This can make students to read the story and answer the questions actively.(1). Where did the story happen? (2). What would happen on the island?(3). When the island would sink, what did the feelings do?(4). Who helped Love? Why? Step3通过回答问题 学生了解了大意。接下来同学们欣赏关“爱与时间”的视频 进一步领会其中的意义。 欣赏完之后 学生以小组的形式用2分钟的来填完表格 进一步了解故事的发展和故事的细节 掌握故事的大意。 Step4经过了回答问题 欣赏视频以及细节的处理后 同学们该用自己的语言来总结故事的大意了。为了让同学们积极的发言,产生学习英语的兴趣,所以用填空的形式来降低总结的难度。

填完之后要及时地检查纠正。 Step5这个故事中的语言对白比较多 所以同学们以对话的形式演出来较好。这样对故事内容能够进一步的学习 了解。 由于时间的关系 有两组的同学来表演。

Step6 语法学习。 通过故事中的一句话来引出本节课的语法。“They were told that the island would sink”。首先让同学们观察画线部分的特点 画线部分是一个句子 且跟在动词“told”之后 一次总结宾语从句的定义。

再看时态 主句动词是“were”是过去时 从句中动词”would”是过去将来时 可以说主句是过去时时 从句要用过去时的相应时态。当主句是一般现在时从句任意时态都可以。再看一下连接词 当从句是陈述句时用”that”来连接 当从句是一般疑问句时 从句用”if”或”whether” 当指时间的疑问词时用连接词when 指地点的话用”where” 方式的话用”how”,最后还要注意宾语从句用陈述句的语序。如 I don’t know where he will go tomorrow.而不能用I don’t know where will he go tomorrow. 进一步练习宾语从句 用宾语从句连接故事中出现的句子Love decided to ask Vanity: “can you help me?” Vanity thought Love ____ wet and_______ her boat. “Come,Love, I’ll take you” Time said.5 Only time can understand ___ valuable Love __ Step7 学以致用 请同学们结合自己的实际谈谈如果爱像自助 。
